Directions:  Most lessons are taught at Santa Monica Beach at Lifeguard Station No. 20.  This is about 50 yards south of the Shutter's Hotel on the Beach and less than a 1/4 mile south of Santa Monica Pier. You can mapquest or google Shutter's address: 1 Pico Blvd., Santa Monica, CA 90405 

Directions from the 10 Freeway West toward Santa Monica are  Exit at 4th Street Exit, Make a Left, then Make a Right at Pico Blvd.  Continue west on Pico which will end in 4 blocks at a stop sign in front of the Shutter's Hotel on the beach.   Make a left at the stop sign and to 1 block up the hill, once you pass the Casa Del Mar Hotel you will see the parking lot, and to your right on the beach is life guard station 20.  Look for the American flag style canopy/tent or call when you arrive.
